We’re Bo, Boy, Ball and Yo, the brothers behind Honest Bowl. Our mother grew-up buying excess produce from local farmers and turning it into Thai curry pastes to sell in Bangkok’s bustling street markets. She married our father and together they upscaled production and began selling tasty Thai food throughout Thailand and around the world. 20 years on, we’ve taken up the mantle to become the first business of its kind to work directly with local farmers and create Fairtrade produce.
2008
We began working with a small group of 30 farmers in Thailand’s Sisaket province to create our first farming collective.
2011
We’re awarded our Fairtrade certification and begin turning our farmers’ delicious Fairtrade ingredients into authentic Thai pastes and sauces.
2021
We’ve grown from 1 collective of 30 farmers to 2 collectives of over 100 farmers, and we’re still growing! Our newest collective is in Thailand’s Phrae province.
2022
Honest Bowl was born! The world’s first Fairtrade brand dedicated to growing and producing authentic Thai food for you to cook and enjoy at home.
